If you are interested in the Sacrament of Baptism for your child, yourself or family member, please contact our pastor through the church office at 203-265-1691 to set up an appointment and for more detailed information. It is not necessary for you to be a member of the congregation for your child to be baptized, but you will need to have a conversation with the minister to determine if the sacrament will be truly meaningful to you.

Who Can Be Baptized?

Infants, children, youth and adults. For infants and children, as well as for youth and adults who have never been baptized before, baptism marks their acceptance into the care of Christ’s church, the sign and seal of God’s grace and forgiveness, and the beginning of their Christian faith and life.

When Do Baptisms Take Place?

Baptisms usually take place during the 10:00 a.m. worship service, although private baptisms may be scheduled. You and the pastor will schedule a time.
